Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Craft Recruiter to support on-site staffing for multi-site projects in Abernathy, TX.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting for craft and trades, partner with project managers to forecast manpower, and drive timely onboarding while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

This role requires on-site work, a track record of recruiting across levels from entry to journeyman, and proficiency with social media and job boards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial craft/trades staffing experience in oil/gas, construction, or engineering.
• Ability to work on site in field office environments.
• Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle and compliance.

General Information/Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Manager and/or Project Manager, the Craft Recruiter is responsible for supplementing the craft/trades staffing efforts in accordance with project manpower and company needs. Also responsible for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers, as well as successfully filling roles for the projects.

Responsibilities/Competencies

• Responsible for full cycle recruiting process for assigned craft/trades staffing needs.
• Work with managers to understand and meet the staffing needs for the various business lines
• Implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in multi-site operations
• Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood
• Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity for the project/projects.
• Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers, project managers and candidates to ensure efficient interview and recruiting process
• Actively participate in career events, career fairs when required
• Maintain database information relative to assigned positions
• Assist with verification and onboarding process of new hires as needed
• Provide support to candidates and new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process
• Perform HR related duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 3+ years of industrial craft/trades staffing related to the oil and gas industry, construction, engineering or related fields.
• Ability to work on site in field office environment.
• Strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization from entry level positions to journeyman and field supervisory level positions
• Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experience
• Clear understanding of the recruitment lifecycle process
• Understanding of applicable laws regarding employment selection
• Strong time management skills
• Strong experienced in recruiting through the use of social medial (LinkedIn, job boards,) a must
• Ability to meet the attendance and punctuality requirements
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research
• Experience in general HR functions is preferred
