Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a warehouse associate to operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items and assemble pallets for shipment. You will verify titles, quantities, and condition to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the packing process.

The role is temp-to-hire with eligibility for full-time status after a 90-day probationary review. Expect a 3:00pm-11:00pm shift, Monday–Friday with overtime, including Saturdays, and a lift of up to 50 lbs, plus

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Commitment to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items.
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item condition.
• Handle exceptions such as damaged, missing, or oversized items by adhering to Lakeside Book Company's quality control procedures.
• Build pallets for shipment, including labeling, wrapping, and loading.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling procedure.

Pay: $17.00/hr, plus $2.50/hr shift differential

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with overtime as required including Saturday
