Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for the afternoon shift. You will operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker to pick cases, load and unload, and stow product for full pallet moves.

Requires at least 6 months of order picker and stand-up forklift experience, ability to reach 30+ feet, and the capacity to lift 50 lbs. After a 90‑day evaluation, medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, holiday pay, and EAP are available.

Forklift Operator | $19.00-$21.50/hr | Afternoon Shift | On Demand Pay

What You’ll Get:

• $19.00/hr, plus $2.50/hr shift differential
• On Demand Pay
• Opportunity for permanent hire after 90 days
• Full-time schedule
• Overtime Required

Shift:

3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday - overtime required including Saturday

Location: 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168

Path to Permanent Employment:

New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period designed to support training and successful integration into the team.
