Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a picker/packer to support our distribution operations in Ashland, OH. You will work on a full-time schedule on the first shift, performing picking, packing and labeling tasks using RF scanners to prepare orders for shipment.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, basic math ability, and strong reading/writing comprehension. Benefits are provided and overtime may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution or logistics experience required.
• Ability to perform simple math with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners to pick, pack, sort, label and distribute orders for shipment.
• Stage labeled packages for pickup by carrier.
• Restock supplies such as boxes and filler material as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines including proper lifting/handling.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with overtime as required

Job Responsibilities:

• Use RF scanners to pick, pack, sort, label, and distribute orders for shipment
