Job summary

Johns Manville in Fernley, NV is hiring a Temp-to-Hire Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, accurately pick orders, load/unload, and maintain safe, efficient work practices.

The role requires at least 1 year in warehouse/distribution, forklift experience (sit-down, propane preferred), and ability to work 6am-2:30pm, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays; strong teamwork and basic computer skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse and distribution.
• Forklift experience required, sit down, propane preferred.
• Ability to load and unload flatbeds and dry vans.
• Good communication skills and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Show initiative in supporting safety and plant-wide initiatives.
• Identify and report mechanical or operational issues with equipment.
• Ensure accurate order picking and meeting shipping deadlines.
• Maximize storage space and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Assist with receiving and shipping functions and cycle counts.
