Job summary

Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management seeks a temporary Student Success Coordinator to support the Assistant Director of Student Success.

You will help coordinate the Whitman Learning Center, supervise Excel tutors, and help run peer mentoring and major events, enhancing academic achievement and belonging for all students. This role collaborates with campus partners and the advising team, handles data collection and tracking, and assists with leave of absence management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with budget management and data tracking.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations of the Whitman Learning Center, supervise tutors, and manage tutor vouchers.
• Assist with orientation activities for new undergraduate and graduate students and support major events.
• Support strategic programming initiatives including Whitman First and mental wellness programming.
• Assist with leave of absence management and re-enrollment procedures.
• Support program assessment and data collection, including student surveys.
• Promote financial opportunities and student success resources.
• Assist with budget tracking in partnership with the assistant director of student success.
