Responsibilities

• Weighs vehicles and directs traffic at the landfill.
• Operates dump truck and water truck; pulls a magnet and cleans the area around the scalehouse.
• Trains new scalehouse employees in landfill procedures.
• Maintains records of charges for billing, collects fees and balances with reports and deposits.
• Prepares reports such as tire counts, recycled paper reports, and end-of-month totals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
