Qualifications

• ALA-accredited master's degree or equivalent foreign degree.
• A demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity.
• Experience providing reference assistance and familiarity with reference tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a general reference librarian at the reference desk.
• Provide the full range of in-person and online LibChat reference services, including research consultations at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Help supervise and train student workers who assist at the reference desk and online LibChat services.
• Conduct course-related information literacy instruction for undergraduate courses, including required rhetoric and communications classes.
• Conduct orientation tours for prospective and new students and other groups.
• Help review and update online research guides for ADA compliance.
• Perform other duties as needed.
