Job summary

AWI Management Corp. in Blythe, CA is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee two 40-unit apartment communities adjacent to Blythe, one senior complex and one family unit.

You will manage daily operations, screening applicants, leasing, rent collection, and enforcement of policies to maintain quality housing. Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and customer-focused, with experience in affordable housing programs such as RD, HUD, or LIHTC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of the assigned property's daily operations
• Processing applications, screening applicants, and verifying landlord references
• Preparing leases, house rules, and required documentation
• Managing tenant certifications and re-certifications
• Conducting move-ins and move-outs
• Collecting rent and security deposits
• Enforcing lease agreements and community policies
• Coordinating maintenance and ensuring property standards are met
• Maintaining strong curb appeal and property presentation
• Marketing and advertising vacant units to attract qualified residents
• Responding appropriately to emergency situations
• Following company policies and procedures
