Free People seeks a detail-oriented temporary Assistant PD Coordinator to support our product development and production teams across the full lifecycle—from costing to final delivery. The role suits someone organized who can manage timelines, vendor communications, and cross-functional alignment to critical deadlines.

The position involves tracking costing, handling sample logistics, and maintaining data in PLM/Excel while coordinating with wholesale and studio teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in Fashion, Retail, Product Development or a related field.
• Proficient in data analysis, data input in PLM, Excel, Qlik etc.
• Ability to work within and across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to implement operational efficiencies.
• Ability to analyze production processes, advise on strategies and meet sample deadlines.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Sense of urgency, adaptability to change, and motivation by deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage Costing and submit tracking using updated cross-functional Excel document.
• Collect, log, and organize mail for sample distribution and component approvals.
• Manage customs import data with vendors and adjust buy sheets with latest tariff/duty rates.
• Ensure weekly Sample Trackers are reviewed and reported for PD deadlines and weekly meetings.
• Keep sample database up to date for cataloguing development samples.
• Coordinate with studio, merchandising and wholesale teams to meet deadlines.
