Qualifications

• Over 10 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience leading non-inventory and MRO purchasing in manufacturing.
• Proven cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and PO management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all non-inventory and MRO purchases aligned with business needs and cost objectives.
• Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Build supplier relationships and monitor performance, addressing issues.
• Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation, and purchasing efficiencies.
• Partner with internal teams to define requirements and plan purchases.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and standardize processes.
• Create purchase orders and ensure accurate pricing and approvals.
• Update PO due dates and follow up on overdue orders.
• Communicate supply risks and coordinate solutions to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate with receiving and accounting to resolve discrepancies.
