Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Three to five years of experience in an acute hospital setting; preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Clinical experience preferred
• Inpatient coding experience preferred
• Two or more years of related PPS experience or equivalent field required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely and accurate data completion of the IRF-PAI for each inpatient.
• Review and monitor information in the IRF-PAI to ensure accuracy in scoring functional status and reflecting care needs.
• Educate licensed clinical staff on proper IRF-PAI completion as a subject matter expert.
• Monitor identified outcome benchmarks for the inpatient population.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
