Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in an electric generating facility preferred.
• Power Plant Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel and ash-handling equipment at steam plants.
• Keep equipment lubricated and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain coal handling equipment neat and functional.
• Operate cranes, bulldozers, and trucks as needed.
• Assist in switching railway cars and loads.
• Follow established procedures and safety practices.
• Substitute for lead operator - Fuels as scheduled.
