Job summary

Lush Handmade Cosmetics is seeking a Temporary Payroll Onboarding Clerk to support the Payroll team in Canada. You will process new hires and rehires in ADP Workforce Now, manage onboarding requests via SolarWinds Service Desk, and ensure payroll-ready records with strict confidentiality.

You will reconcile documentation, maintain electronic files, and collaborate with recruiters to obtain missing items while meeting tight timelines in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience using ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
• 2+ years of experience processing employee records or payroll-related data.
• Experience using SolarWinds Service Desk or a comparable ticketing system.
• Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven administrative or payroll environment.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet).
• Experience with cloud-based document management systems for payroll records.
• Strong data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to identify data discrepancies and documentation gaps while following payroll procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication with Payroll and Recruitment Managers.

Responsibilities

• Process new hire and rehire employee setups within ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
• Review onboarding requests submitted through SolarWinds Service Desk and manage tickets.
• Reconcile onboarding documents to ensure payroll readiness.
• Upload and maintain onboarding documentation in ADP WFN.
• Validate employee information against submitted documentation for payroll compliance.
• Process employee record updates and rehire transactions per procedures.
• Maintain data integrity through QA checks and discrepancy resolution.
• Collaborate with Recruiter/Hiring Managers to obtain missing documentation.
• Monitor onboarding tickets with SolarWinds and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain organized electronic records while respecting privacy laws.
