Kiva Confections is hiring a Temporary Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee biweekly payroll for 400+ employees across multiple states and entities. The role also manages benefits programs, supports HR and Finance, and drives process improvements. California residency is required for this position.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. This temporary 7-month assignment supports a fast-paced, growth-focused People Operations function.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5+ years of payroll & benefits management experience.
• Experience with benefits administration and HRIS/payroll systems.
• Experience supporting a workforce of 300–500 employees in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including wage & hour and garnishments.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Suite; detail-oriented with high confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Process biweekly payroll for ~400 employees across multiple states and entities.
• Oversee benefits eligibility, enrollments, changes, and terminations; manage Open Enrollment.
• Maintain clean HRIS data and audit payroll, benefits, and HRIS integration.
• Ensure compliance with payroll, wage & hour, and benefits regulations across states.
• Support leaves and time-off administration; coordinate with HR, Finance, and Accounting.
• Provide cross-functional payroll insights and back-up for People Operations workflows.
• Identify and implement payroll and benefits process improvements.
