Job summary

Insperity is seeking an Associate Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will receive payroll information from assigned clients and/or payroll specialists, process payroll data, support new hires, changes, and termination information, and ensure data integrity and compliance.

You will work with the team on a variety of payroll tasks, maintaining client relationships and delivering accurate payroll records while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of payroll or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives payroll information from clients or payroll specialists, processes payroll information, and produces client-specific payroll checks, invoices, and standard payroll reports.
• Ensures accuracy of payroll input, balancing input to the payroll worksheet and payroll reports to clients.
• Maintains the integrity of the client and employee database and ensures all compliances are met.
• Provides backup documentation to the Finance Department when needed for wires.
• Maintains accurate delivery instructions for each payroll in the system.
• Establishes clear communications with clients, employees, and team members in order to better serve the client.
