Job summary

DC Water is seeking up to two Temporary Procurement Staff Support professionals to assist a Procurement Official in managing capital construction and Architecture & Engineering services. The role requires comfort with Oracle ERP and hands-on procurement experience.

You will support end-to-end sourcing, evaluate proposals, draft RFQs/IFBs, and ensure actions comply with regulations and local laws, while maintaining audit-ready contract files and coordinating evaluation panels.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle ERP experience.
• 3+ years of construction or A&E procurement experience.
• Understanding of qualification-based selection and competitive bidding.
• Strong written and verbal communication with project managers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Oracle ERP daily to track solicitations, vendor data, and contract milestones.
• Assist end-to-end sourcing, evaluation, and awarding of complex capital construction and A&E service contracts.
• Draft and review solicitations, RFPs, IFBs, scopes of work, and contract modifications.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, federal guidelines, and local requirements.
• Coordinate evaluation panels, document vendor questions, and maintain audit-ready contract files.
