Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking temporary NDT Level II PT Technicians in Houston, TX to support field inspections. You will set up and calibrate NDT equipment and perform tests to detect defects using NDT methods.

Responsibilities include applying testing criteria, interpreting results, documenting findings, and performing specialized inspections. You may instruct and supervise others and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination with safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
