Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Temporary State Carded NDT RT Level II Technician to set up and calibrate NDT equipment and perform inspections in accordance with standards. You will interpret results and report findings while ensuring safety regulations are followed.

The role requires RT Level II certification, TWIC, and state card credentials, with experience in radiographic interpretation and NDT methods. Local travel may be involved for on-site inspections.

Qualifications

• TWIC Card required.
• RT Level II certification required.
• RT State Card required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
