Job summary

Acuren seeks a certified NDT Level II Technician (MT/PT/UTT) to support field operations in Ponca City, OK. The role involves performing non-destructive evaluations, calibrating testing instruments, interpreting data to detect material defects, and guiding assistants and Level I technicians.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, performing MT/PT/UTT tests per codes, preparing inspection reports, and supervising Level I staff on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Level II Certification in MT/PT/UTT with documented records.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid TWIC card.
• Based in or near Ponca City, OK (within ~40 miles).
• Ability to travel for job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and calibrate NDT equipment for field inspections.
• Perform MT, PT, and UTT testing according to specifications and safety codes.
• Interpret indicators and readouts to evaluate structural defects.
• Prepare, organize, and submit formal technical inspection reports.
• Supervise and support Level I technicians during on-site operations.
