Job summary

Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Temp- MFA Theatre Assistant Director to provide temporary administrative, enrollment, recruitment, and program support for the MFA Theatre Program during the maternity leave. The role runs from late September 2026 through December 2026, with planning extending into the January residency and Spring 2027 semester.

This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the MFA Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum five years of increasingly responsible experience in higher education administration or related program operations.
• Experience with enrollment, recruitment, admissions, and financial aid coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly virtual student check-in meetings with the MFA Director.
• Maintain general email correspondence with current students and faculty.
• Respond to program inquiries and provide timely administrative support.
• Coordinate with Registrar and Financial Aid offices on deadlines and information.
• Assist with residency planning and faculty contracting activities.
