Job summary

Frostburg State University (FSU) is seeking part-time adjunct lecturers for its Theatre Program. The successful candidate will teach courses such as THEA 107 and THEA 110 starting Fall 2026. Candidates should have an MFA in Theatre or a BA with five years of professional experience.

This position is temporary (fixed term) and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. The salary is $2,220 per course, and the position remains open until filled.

Frostburg State University (FSU) Theatre Program is accepting applications on an ongoing basis for part-time adjunct lecturers to teach THEA 107, Introduction to Design; THEA 106, Introduction to Theatre; and THEA 110, Introduction to Acting, starting Fall 2026 and beyond.

• Teach 1-2 theatre courses per semester to support departmental needs.

• Minimum Qualifications: MFA in Theatre, or BA in Theatre and a minimum of five years professional experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: MFA in Theatre with professional experience in Acting, Directing and/or Design.
