Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive continuous improvements in the Electronics Department and collaborate with site leadership, operations, and maintenance teams to boost productivity and safety.

You will identify opportunities, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance safety, quality, and performance across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Partner with site leadership, operations, and maintenance teams to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Promote Zero Harm through safety leadership and behavior-based safety practices.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement manufacturing improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Establish standard work, line balancing, workflow improvements, and bottleneck reduction initiatives.
  • Develop targets and Baselines and optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and drive cost savings.
  • Conduct time studies, process analyses, material flow studies, and layout evaluations to identify opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify root causes, develop solutions, and measure results.
  • Lead implementation of process improvements with sustainability controls.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering teams, and contractors on improvements.
  • Identify and introduce innovative technologies and processes to enhance capability.
