Job summary
Dyno Nobel in Connecticut is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in the Electronics Department to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing performance. You will partner with site leadership, operations, and maintenance to identify opportunities, reduce waste, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and OEE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
- 3+ years of manufacturing operations or continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, OEE, process optimization, or root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve quality and safety.
- Lead time studies, workflow analyses, and bottleneck removal projects.
- Develop targets and establish baselines for performance (OEE).
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement improvements.
