Commitment: We pursue excellence for our team and our talent. Everything in music starts with a leap into the unknown, and we’re committed to keeping the faith, acting with integrity, and delivering on our promises.

WMG is home to a wide range of artists, musicians, and songwriters that fuel our success. That is why we are committed to creating a work environment that actively values, appreciates, and respects everyone. We encourage applications from people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds – an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of an nimble independent.

A little bit about our team:

WMX, Warner Music Group’s culture-driving media, creative content, and artist services division, sets a new standard for artists, advertisers, and fans through world-class experiences, award-winning creative content, and industry-leading audience insights. The Global Commercial Operations team drives business success through consistent delivery practices. Our team creates flexible project management frameworks that provide governance, encourage collaboration, and streamline workflows. We oversee programs and projects that reach millions of fans globally.

Your role:

As an eCommerce Operations Manager, you will be a key part of our global business, positioned within our Global Commercial Operations department. eCommerce Ops is responsible for the daily operations of artists’ webstores. You will work with Store Managers, Customer Service, and Fulfillment teams to ensure customer satisfaction in all aspects. We’re looking for candidates with eCommerce operational experience. You’ll need a keen eye for detail, be quick to learn, and able to prioritize your workload in a fast-paced environment. A passion for music is a plus.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Ecommerce Platform Configuration: Lead the configuration and setup of our ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify) to ensure accurate product listings, pricing, promotions, and availability. Update and maintain store content such as the product catalog (price, descriptions, imagery, and other attributes), banners, and FAQs. Perform thorough testing/QA for store and production launches, including links, banners, and promotions. Work with the technical team to implement changes and enhancements, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and site performance.
  • Product Presentation: Partner with the merchandising/store manager team to curate the homepage and organize product categories and collections for optimized navigation. Ensure product descriptions are accurate, comprehensive, and SEO-friendly. Implement visual merchandising strategies to showcase new releases, featured products, and promotions. Optimize product sorting and filtering for better browsing and search experiences.
  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the merchandising/store manager team to understand goals and messaging for new releases, campaigns, and promotions. Implement timed launches according to plans, ensuring all elements are activated correctly.
  • Inventory Management: Work with store management and warehouse teams to ensure accurate product availability and stock levels. Assist in setting inventory thresholds and safety stock levels. Synchronize inventory updates with order processing to reduce overselling risks.
  • Monitor weekly sales of new album releases to ensure chart accuracy and identify discrepancies. Use reporting tools to deliver sales reports, including artist revenue, promotional performance, and product sales.
  • Act as liaison between store managers, customer service, and fulfillment teams to track product delivery for new releases, ensuring timely fulfillment. Collaborate with customer service to communicate delays or defects to maintain customer satisfaction.

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience with ecommerce platforms, especially Salesforce or Shopify
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communicator across multiple teams
  • Self-starter with problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities
  • Responsible handling of sensitive/confidential information
  • Availability to work outside standard hours for business needs

Preferred qualifications:

  • Passion for music and entertainment
  • Experience with task management tools like Asana or JIRA
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Merchandising, Ecommerce, or related field
  • Experience in the music industry
