Job summary

A Skilled Nursing Home Facility is seeking an experienced LPN Charge Nurse to plan and execute nursing services for residents across nearby facilities as needed.

You will be responsible for ensuring quality care, following policies, and coordinating with physicians. Must have an active LPN license, CPR, and at least 1 year in a skilled nursing setting. Attendance is required for contract extensions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable experience as an LPN in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Valid state license and in good standing as a licensed nurse
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, laws and regulations for long-term care
• Attention to detail, good follow-through and ability to prioritize tasks
• Demonstrates cooperation and ability to work as a team
• Current CPR certification is required
• Attendance is a MUST to fulfill contract and extensions

Rate: $50/ hourly

Job Description:

The LPN Charge Nurse plans, controls, and executes the provision of nursing services to assigned residents under general supervision and guidance within the standards for quality care provided by the policies, procedures and practices of the facility in line with appropriate legal standards, medical practices and physicians’ instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• To be eligible for this rate, applicant must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience as an LPN in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Must have a valid state license and be a licensed nurse in good standing.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Attention to detail, good follow-through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.
• Must have current CPR certification
• Attendance is a MUST to fulfill contract and be considered for extensions
