Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc. seeks an experienced LPN Charge Nurse for flexible shifts at multiple nearby nursing facilities in Mystic, CT. Earn $50/hour with weekly pay and a summer contract. In-person, temporary, seasonal roles with potential extensions.

You'll plan and execute nursing services under facility policies, require 1+ year LPN in Skilled Nursing Facility, valid license, CPR, and strong teamwork. Attendance is essential to qualify for extensions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of verifiable LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Valid state license and be in good standing.
• Knowledge of long-term care laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team player with ability to cooperate with others.
• Current CPR certification.
• Attendance required for contract extensions.

Job Description:

The LPN Charge Nurse plans, controls, and executes the provision of nursing services to assigned residents under general supervision and guidance within the standards for quality care provided by the policies, procedures and practices of the facility in line with appropriate legal standards, medical practices and physicians’ instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• To be eligible for this rate, applicant must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience as an LPN in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Must have a valid state license and be a licensed nurse in good standing.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Attention to detail, good follow-through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.
• Must have current CPR certification
• Attendance is a MUST to fulfill contract and be considered for extensions
