Job summary

Synergy Fiber is seeking a Temporary Low-Voltage Technician to support a commercial construction project in Baton Rouge, LA. You will assist with installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low-voltage systems, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling and low-voltage systems preferred.
• Open to all experience levels; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use ladders/power tools safely.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure CAT5e/CAT6 cabling in commercial sites.
• Build telecommunications rooms and equipment closets.
• Install cable supports and structured cabling systems.
• Install low-voltage systems such as security and CCTV.
• Terminate RJ45 connectors and patch panels; test cabling.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized job site per specs.
