Synergy Fiber in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Temporary Low-Voltage Technician to support a commercial construction project. You will assist with installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low-voltage systems, ensuring quality workmanship and safety.

Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply; valid driver’s license is required; overtime may be needed. OSHA/BICSI knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

  • Experience with structured cabling, low-voltage systems, access control, security systems, or coaxial cabling is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including those beginning a career in the low-voltage industry.
  • Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Data center experience, fiber splicing experience, and OSHA or BICSI knowledge are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow direction.

Job Type: Temporary, Project-Based Assignment

Position Summary

Synergy Fiber is seeking a Temporary Low-Voltage Technician to support a commercial construction project in Baton Rouge, LA. This role assists with the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low-voltage systems while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
