Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support in a dynamic office setting. You will own the onboarding process, manage pre-employment activities, and ensure compliance with I-9 and HR policies.

The role focuses on delivering a positive employee experience and accurate recordkeeping while supporting multiple HR duties. You will serve as the main point of contact for applicants and new hires, coordinating orientation and benefits explanations, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, onboarding, recruiting, or admin support.
• Knowledge of I-9 documentation, background checks, and HR compliance.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee records and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the full onboarding process for new employees.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates and new hires during onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks and drug screenings.
• Support onboarding orientation and communicate policies, benefits, and expectations.
• Process and audit I-9 forms and employment records for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready personnel files and protect confidential information.
• Provide front-line HR support regarding onboarding and documentation.
• Monitor onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding requirements to ensure start dates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
