Job summary

The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is seeking a dedicated custodian for Bruce McCandless Community Living Center. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and laundry tasks to support resident comfort and safety on a long-term care campus.

Requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and willingness to undergo extensive background checks. State residency in Colorado is required, with shift work including evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of cleaning experience in a business, medical, or industrial setting.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and servicing of assigned work area using approved disinfectants and equipment.
• Handle resident laundry and facility linens, including sorting, folding, and distribution; follow Universal Precautions.
