Our client is specialty litigation firm seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team on a Temp-Hire basis. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional litigation and transaction results to their clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals engaged in litigation and transactional matters
  • Preparing, editing, and finalizing legal documents and correspondence
  • Assisting with client onboarding, including preparation of new matter memoranda and engagement letters
  • Managing filings in federal courts
  • Maintaining attorney calendars, coordinating meetings, scheduling conference rooms, and arranging travel
  • Supporting billing processes, including time entry, proofreading, and preparation of cover letters
  • Preparing expense reports and check requests
  • Coordinating mailings, deliveries, and copying

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SurePoint, iManage, and CompuLaw preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, technological proficiency, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative approach
