Job summary

Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Culinary Cook to work full time, temporarily. This schedule includes a weekend and holiday rotation.

The Culinary Cook is responsible for preparing food in large quantities across all living communities, Eventide Residences, Meals on Wheels and catering. You will train new cooks, help improve recipes, and monitor leftovers to minimize waste.

Qualifications

• English communication required, including medical terminology related to the job.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must meet Eventide vaccination requirements and have prep/cook permits as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in large quantities following federal, state and corporate standards.
• Follows recipes and product directions to prepare and serve items for all units.
• Operates kitchen equipment, measures and mixes ingredients, and trims meats and vegetables.
