Williamsburg Landing is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff under the Executive Chef. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure quality, and maintain sanitation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in a large production kitchen, a high school diploma or equivalent, and food safety certification. Full-time benefits, including health and retirement plans, are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a large production kitchen.
• Food Handlers’ Card required; SERVSAFE certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control.
• Follow provided menus and adapt only with supervisor consent.
• Set up lines and prepare items for service and take-out as needed.
• Ensure timely preparation of meals and proper sanitation in prep areas.
• Prepare foods for special events and supervise kitchen cleanliness.
• Store and label products correctly and monitor refrigeration.
• Communicate with residents, guests, and Williamsburg Landing staff.
• Assist in emergencies and assume supervision when senior chefs are absent.
• Follow all policies on conduct, safety, dress, and hygiene.
