The Child & Family Center in Santa Clarita is seeking a Temporary Events Coordinator to support marketing, outreach and donor engagement through planning and executing events and fundraising activities. The role requires at least one year of event planning, strong communication and social media skills, and the ability to work evenings or weekends.

This temporary position runs through December 22, 2026, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• One year of event planning experience required.
• Proficient with Canva, Constant Contact and Bloomerang.
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Willing to work evenings/weekends for events.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass health and fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly newsletters and community reports.
• Enter donor activity in CRM and track using Bloomerang.
• Draft and send approved correspondence.
• Post content on social media platforms.
• Coordinate marketing materials and event logistics.
• Provide day-of event support and volunteer coordination.
• Develop post-event follow-up communications and reports.
• Enter and track data related to marketing, events, and donors.
