Job summary

V2X Inc in Indianapolis is seeking a Temporary Electronics Worker I (1st shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site. This temporary role runs up to six months and offers benefits, with potential to become regular full-time.

You will perform assembly, disassembly, rework, and repair of electronic assemblies, including PCBs, cable harnesses, and chassis, following detailed instructions, IPC standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of electronic assembly/rework/repair experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance may be required.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Shift: 1st shift (5:00–7:00 a.m.) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow process routings, wiring diagrams, and production planning documents.
• Solder board/components (through-hole and surface mount) and perform touch-ups.
• Operate soldering, desoldering, pressing, shaping, winding, and placement machines.
• Prepare assemblies for inspection and testing.
• Assist with conformal coating and other intermediate tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
