Job summary

WWAARC is seeking a TEMPORARY full-time Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a residential program in Hudson Falls, NY. The schedule covers overnight shifts: Sun 9pm-6am, Mon 9pm-9am, Tue 9pm-6am, Wed 9pm-7am.

Pay is $20.00/hour plus differentials & longevity; the role involves assisting individuals with daily routines, meals, medication support, and community activities, in a supportive, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with getting ready for the day or going to bed.
• Help with cooking and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Medication assistance and monitoring as applicable.
• Participate in social and recreational activities in the community.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment and have fun while making a difference.

One of our residential programs located in Hudson Falls, NY has a TEMPORARY full-time, 40-hour AWAKE Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) position available.

The schedule for this position is Sunday 9pm-6am, Monday 9pm-9am, Tuesday 9pm-6am, and Wednesday 9pm-7am.

The rate of pay is $20.00/hour + differentials & longevity, and this is an hourly position. DSPs support and care for people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. This can include but is not limited to assisting the people with getting ready for the day or going to bed, cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, and participating in social/recreational activities in the community and just plain have fun while making a difference!
