Youth Respite Direct Support Professional (DSP)
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you support individuals with developmental disabilities. You empower individuals to reach their full potential. We are looking for full‑time, part‑time, and as‑needed (PRN) team members.
Essential Functions
- You assist individuals with daily living activities.
- You respect individual rights and confidentiality.
- You follow the Individual Service Plan.
- You use electronic software to complete documentation.
- You take clients to complete fun activities in the community.
- You help clients with a clean and safe living environment.
- You use effective communication with team members and family members of individuals.
- You protect the health and safety of the individual and others.
- You attend all paid training and team meetings.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education
At least a high school diploma or GED.
Experience
- No experience necessary
- Computer Skills: Compose emails. Use various programs, including Brittco and ADP, to do job duties.
Certificates & Licenses
Valid Driver’s License with five or fewer points.
Other Requirements
- CPR and First Aid Certification, which we will provide.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
