Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. (ABCD) is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a full-time temporary role in Downtown Boston on Tremont Street. The successful candidate will input client information and payments to vendors into data software on a daily basis.

This position carries a temporary, full-time status with an expected end date of April 30, 2027. Compensation is $38,747 per year ($21.29/hour) USD, with salary scales set by policy and market data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 12 months of experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume workload.
• Good mathematical and accuracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience with data entry software programs.
• Must be able to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Input client information and payments to vendors into data software.
• Prepare batch controls for applications to be processed.
• Compute totals from batch controls.
• Review applications completed by intake sites to apply a status.
• Write incomplete letters to applicants for applications received as incomplete.
• Provide backup for application intake when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time.
