Job summary

DREAM Charter High School in Bronx, NY seeks a Restorative Practices/Discipline Coordinator to monitor transitions, supervise the after-school reflection program, log discipline data, and support crisis interventions.

You will implement school-wide expectations, communicate with families, and contribute to a positive culture using restorative circles, responsive classroom approaches, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents in a school-based setting.
• Experience using responsive classroom or restorative practices preferred.
• Special education degree or training preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor class transitions, lunch, recess, after-school reflection, in-school suspension, and scholars out of class.
• Supervise the after-school reflection program.
• Input school culture data into information systems.
• Log, track, and complete paperwork for discipline issues.
• Facilitate community building and restorative circles.
• Communicate with families regarding school response to student misbehavior and investigations.
• Implement school-wide behavior expectations and routines.
• Provide follow-up on scholars, families, and staff.
