Job summary

DREAM is seeking a role-based position at its Bronx charter school campus to support after-school and school-wide culture initiatives. This temporary role runs through the 2026-2027 school year and requires on-site work at DREAM Charter High School (20 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx).

Salary ranges from 66,500 to 75,000 USD per year, with potential annual increases based on performance. The incumbent will monitor student transitions, engage families, and uphold behavioral expectations while collaborating

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with adolescents in a school-based environment.
• Experience using responsive classroom or restorative practices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to foster open communication with the school community.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor transitions and supervision within after-school programs.
• Input culture data into information systems and log discipline paperwork.
• Support crisis response and de-escalation for students.
• Communicate with families about behavior responses and investigations.
• Help implement school-wide behavior expectations and routines.
• Provide input on strategies for positive school culture.
