Job summary

University of Texas on the UT Main Campus seeks a Temporary Facility Worker to perform custodial and setup tasks in intercollegiate athletics facilities. The role supports event operations, housekeeping, and team-oriented tasks across multiple venues.

This temporary position requires a valid Texas driver’s license, the ability to work non-traditional hours, and a commitment to maintaining clean, safe facilities during varsity events and other uses.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED.
• One year of custodial experience in a public facility.
• Flexibility with the schedule; may require evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior spaces at all athletics facilities.
• Assist with game-day stadium and field setup.
• Stock restrooms prior to varsity sporting events; empty trash and sweep public areas.
• Assist with furniture moving and setup before events and clean up after events.
• Perform facility housekeeping: scrub, sweep, seal, vacuum, and buff floors.
