Job description

KENDO HOLDINGS INC is hiring a Temp Associate Creative Director for OH (Ole Henriksen) in San Francisco, CA on a hybrid basis. This contract role (USD 61–73 per hour) is built for a creative who can translate brand vision into a consistent visual world, while partnering closely with copy to bring campaigns to life across every touchpoint.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will own visual creative direction for OH, shaping brand expression across campaign and day-to-day execution. You will also work as part of a creative duo with the Head of Copy to co-develop ideas and align delivery from concept through production.

• Lead Ole Henriksen creative direction including visual identity, campaign concepting, and brand expression across touchpoints
• Develop creative concepts for all Ole campaign moments, from initial territory through execution briefs, covering both major and minor moments
• Provide art direction for Ole campaign shoots including shot lists, casting direction, and set and prop direction in partnership with the Sr. CD
• Collaborate with the Head of Copy on joint concepting, shared briefing, and aligned delivery
• Maintain campaign execution quality by ensuring design output across the execution layer meets the creative brief
• Direct and mentor three design direct reports, providing feedback and creative guidance on their work

Requirements

• 6+ years of design and art direction experience, with a strong beauty or lifestyle brand portfolio
• Proven ability to hold a distinct brand visual world and voice across multiple campaign moments
• Demonstrated ability to produce work that resonates on social including Meta, Tiktok, and Youtube
• Strong understanding of native-to-platform art direction to support truly social-first campaign development
• Experience in a creative pairing model and comfort co-leading with a copy partner
• Strong campaign concepting skills, focused on original creative territories beyond brief execution
• Comfort functioning as both a director and an individual contributor
• Visual merchandising design experience is a plus
