Job summary

House of Delegates in Richmond seeks a 2027 SESSION Assistant Page Coordinator to help manage the flow of daily assignments for the Page program. This temporary role supports a two-person team, reporting to the Lead Page Coordinator and working with House Clerks' Office staff and hotel chaperones during the legislative session.

Start date January 10, 2027; end date February 26, 2027, with training beforehand.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adolescents.
• Ability to mentor, provide feedback, and communicate effectively.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.
• Detail-oriented and the ability to multitask.
• General understanding of the Virginia General Assembly and the Page Program.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of daily assignments to the House Page class from staff, Delegates, House Clerks' Office staff, and other personnel.
• Collaborate with the Lead Page Coordinator, Hotel Chaperones, and other Page Supervisors throughout the 7–9 week program for 13–14-year-old students during the Legislative Session.
