Job summary

TileBar in New York, NY is seeking an Accounting Associate (Temp) to support accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role is based at the Flatiron HQ with a 3 days onsite, 2 days remote schedule.

You will enter ACH payments, process invoices, deposit checks, and assist with audits, gaining exposure to cross-functional finance tasks and analytics under the Controller, AP Manager, and AR Director.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience in a medium to large company.
• Excellent communication skills to keep the team informed of issues and work status.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask, and able to complete work on time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

About The Job

TileBar is a rapidly growing tile and flooring design and distribution company. Through our omnichannel sales offerings, we provide a curated product assortment, technical innovation, and an elevated, white-glove experience. We are looking for someone excited to support a growing business. The Accounting Associate will assist both the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with daily ad hoc functions, with the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities.

Compensation

$25 - 30 per hour

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
