Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic, reliable instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Temecula, CA. You will lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students, using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and good sportsmanship.

The position offers weekday afternoon sessions (2:00 PM–5:00 PM) with 1–5 classes per week, mileage reimbursement for travel, and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational, recreational, or mentoring settings.
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, fun sessions.
• Professional, positive, kid-friendly demeanor.
• Desire to be a positive role model and promote good sportsmanship.
• Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain moves and simple tactics.
• Ability to connect chess problem-solving to real-life scenarios.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive between locations.
• Weekday afternoon availability 2:00 PM–5:00 PM to teach 1–5 classes per week.
• Commitment to safety protocols and punctuality.
