Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a TEM Analysis Engineer to perform TEM analysis on semiconductor devices, analyze profiles, chemical composition and defects, and generate in-depth reports to guide tool status changes and process adjustments.

You will collaborate with customers, work with the Ops team on sample quality, and lead improvements in quality, turn-around time, and cost. The role is on-site with base salary range disclosed and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related science/engineering field.
• Experience with defect root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Ability to conduct scientific research and write papers.

Responsibilities

• Operate TEM tools and generate in-depth reports.
• Work with customers to interpret TEM results and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with Ops to improve sample quality and prep.
• Lead projects to improve analytical quality, TAT, and cost.
• Perform level-appropriate tool maintenance.
