What You’ll Do

• Make a great first impression by welcoming customers and guiding them to the colleague who can best meet their needs.
• Engage in continuous customer support, exhibiting efficient, effective, and courteous service in person and by telephone.
• Provide customers with information on Rockland Trust banking products best suited to their individual needs.
• Perform transactions requiring a high level of accuracy, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and other financial transactions.
• Make decisions alongside your immediate supervisor, with responsibilities expanding as you gain knowledge and experience.
• Work closely with the training team and branch staff to learn responsibilities and complete Rockland Trust’s Teller Training program.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate business goals.
• Sales and service‑oriented personality.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability to work within normal office requirements, including long periods of standing and continuous customer support.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate.
• Ability to successfully complete our training program.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 1–2 years of teller experience or cash handling/customer service skills.
