Job summary

Kitsap Credit Union is actively hiring for Member Associate I, II and III (Teller/Personal Banker) positions across the area, including Belfair. These roles are responsible for creating exceptional member experience while processing transactions, as well as offering and demonstrating all-digital, remote and self-service options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of cash handling, customer service, and/or retail sales experience.
• 1 year of Financial Institution experience with new accounts and consumer lending experience.
• Must be registered with NMLS within 30 days of hire and comply with SAFE Act.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
• Assist members and non-members in opening accounts and basic lending.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with financial needs and transactions.
• Educate and introduce members to products and digital/self-service options.
• Foster and maintain member relationships.
• Review knowledge of products and services.
• Promote digital, remote and self-serve options.
• Generate new memberships through branch sales.
• Balance procedures and adhere to compliance standards.
