Job summary

A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Excellent communications skills—verbal, written and listening.
• Needs based sales and referral ability.
• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under occasional pressure.
• Good eye for detail/quality.
• Good team player.
• Strong computer and 10-key calculator skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with all membership and account needs including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, travelers’ checks, transfers, etc.
• Open/close memberships, Certificates, IRA's, Trust Accounts, consumer loans and other account maintenance.
• Accurately maintain and balance cash drawer and daily transactions; cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Open/deposit accounts; take loan applications and coordinate with related departments.
• Respond to member requests and collaborate with other departments to maintain unsurpassed service.
